Aware of our social responsibility, we aim to achieve our goals within the frame of this policy, which will be reviewed at appropriate intervals in order to make the necessary updates after condition changes while improving our performance by investing in people, information and technology with our approach and understanding that are conscious of the society, employees and the environment.

In order to achieve our Social goals while conducting mining activities as all employees of Lidya Madencilik San. ve Tic. A.Ş, including contractors, suppliers and visitors, we hereby undertake that we will:

  • Ensure the establishment and implementation of a Social Management System that identifies, evaluates and manages the Social risks and impacts of our mining activities and continuously monitor, review and update this system,
  • Comply with legal regulations, other requirements and national and international standards related to Social matters,
  • Develop and maintain a constructive relationship by establishing transparent communication with the participation of public institutions, society, other stakeholders and our employees in order to take effective & practical decisions and measures,
  • Develop partnerships with local communities, government agencies, employees, contractors and other stakeholders to promote sustainable social and economic development,
  • Adopt a strong and sustainable social culture in all our activities and ensure that this culture is adopted by all stakeholders,
  • Work with local stakeholders to support the needs of the relevant region and leave positive and lasting legacies to contribute to the increase of local welfare,
  • Respect human rights and cultural values of all our stakeholders,
  • Consider the wishes, needs and concerns of our stakeholders in our area of influence,
  • Handle and evaluate complaints in a timely, fair and regular manner,
  • Identify and eliminate or check potential social risks for all our stakeholders,
  • Provide all necessary systems to ensure working conditions conscious of Social matters in which the employees act in cooperation, including the contractors and suppliers, train the employees and continuously improve our performance,
  • Standardize the practices for Social matters for all activities of our company,
  • Provide a socially-conscious working environment.
