HOD MADEN

Hod Maden is located in northeastern Turkey in the Artvin province in the Eastern Pontides metallogenic belt contains gold-copper mineralization in the Main Zone is multi-stage and includes massive sulphide mineralization and breccia hosted mineralization. The Southern Zone is located approximately 300 meters south of the Main Zone and the gold-copper mineralization is hosted dominantly in dacitic volcanic rocks and breccia. Pyrite is the dominant sulphide phase with relatively minor chalcopyrite.

Lidya earned-in this greenfield property through a deal with Mariana Resources back in 2014. Significant drill results in early 2015 made this project one of the most significant discoveries in Turkey for over a decade with its high grade mineralization.

A Pre-Feasibility Study was released in 2018 and considered underground mining for high grade gold and copper with 11 years of mine life. Hod Maden project moves into the next stage of development as EIA, land acquisition and infrastructure investments are underway while the feasibility study continues.

The project is operated by Lidya under a joint venture, Artmin Madencilik, with 70/30 Lidya/Sandstorm Gold shareholding.
